It's been a little over a week since the Wapsi rose and receded. Towns held their breath, and while it was close, it wasn't a repeat of 2008. Yes, some areas were hit pretty hard, as was to be expected, but thanks to efforts since, the infrastructure has greatly improved to help prevent the catastrophes of two years ago. However, there were still some interesting scenes ...

I love the burst function! Catching this wave form as the water
slipped over the top of the dam was a very, very, very lucky shot.
