Another Foggy Day ...

This has been a very, very mild winter. Temps are fluctuating from the single digits to the low 50s. Snow is about a third less than this time last year. These wacky patterns may be contributing to the number of foggy days this season, I don't know. But one day late in January, it was foggy enough and warm enough for me to venture to the state park nearby.

About half way there, I heard honking. Not a car -- it wasn't that foggy. But geese. I thought they were supposed to have flown south. Guess not. They kept circling as if lost. I kept heading towards the park. No sun, so it was cloudy on top of the fog.

When I finally reached the park, I could not believe the number of geese there. Two hundred easily. Mr. Eagle was flying around, too. Not sure if it was the same one from a few posts back.

I like these pics for their "hazy" quality, I hope you do as well.
