Red Barn 2012

There was so much I wanted to change after last year's Red Barn brochure. The sidewalks, though an accurate portrayal of the intricate brick patter that's there, was just too busy. And it went against my belief that graphics should be simple and clean.

As you can see, it's very subdued. I had the photo of the Arts Center in color, but then decided to run it through Photoshop to match the tone of the cover image for consistency. (Just because you can do things in full color, doesn't always mean you should.) As the festival is about a month earlier, they're about eight vendors down, so it would take some doing to get over 100 listed, but doable.

As you can see, the 24" x 36" map going on the signboards is the same as the image in brochure, but without the committee list. In its place is the Red Barn logo.
