Are you dreading the boxes of unmarked and unlabeled photos in your parent's or grandparent's attic? With digital photography, those boxes have become CDs or flash drives, or whatever digital storage comes down the pipe. But just because they take up less space doesn't make the task of organizing photos any easier.
I started tinkering with my computer files last year, and one could say I made what some would call progress. However, as you add, you must also integrate. There are several CDs onto which I dumped hundreds of photos. Not the smartest thing I've ever done, but at least they're stored, and the situation is easily fixed. It just isn't ... yet. (Take a close look at your files before judging mine, thank you.)
Amidst the digital clutter, I found some more tree bark photos. I'm sure I'm not the first person to make an observation of something so elemental being captured with a bunch of ones and zeros. Since I first saw it a few years back, I've been fascinated with Klimt's Beechwood Forest. Unfortunately, I've not found such a forest to call mine. Ah, well. Someday.
Hopefully, my future travels will be able to include more nature studies such as these.
