In May of 2008, Kirksville Arts pushed the limits with an exhibit of student drawings from Truman State University. The majority of them were nudes.
My initial concept incorporated my favorite of the collection: Day One, or How I Learned to Love My Body, a charcoal on paper piece by Ashley E. May. It looked like a Victorian sketch.
Wisely, a tamer route was chosen. I used Anna Youngyen's graphite on paper sketch entitled It's the Tofu.
